The company dataPartner is currently playing a significant role in the modernization of the MARIA research reactor, which is part of the Polish National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ) in Otwock near Warsaw. NCBJ is one of the largest scientific institutions in Central Europe, conducting both fundamental and applied research related to nuclear energy and various fields of subatomic physics.
The main contractor for the modernization project, valued at approximately CZK 300 million, is the Plzeň-based company ŠKODA JS, which is also responsible for the integration of the entire new system.
dataPartner is in charge of preparing the project documentation, supplying and installing components for the entire control system and neutron instrumentation.
The awarding of this contract was preceded by the successful implementation of the first phase of the modernization, which dataPartner carried out independently between 2020 and 2024.
