Daikin Industries Czech Republic, located in Plzeň, has been utilizing the PATRIOT® CMMS maintenance management information system since 2009. The system was fully implemented with numerous customer-specific modifications. It serves as a comprehensive tool for maintaining records of production equipment, monitoring machine conditions, statistically evaluating machine failure rates, tracking maintenance costs, managing spare parts inventory, and monitoring MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), resource costs, operating times, and downtimes. All maintenance jobs are recorded through work orders and labor reports, with the ability to retrospectively trace the data. The Maintenance Terminal simplifies repair request submissions, leading to swift and efficient issue resolution, minimizing subsequent damages. The system has been enhanced with barcode scanning for maintenance objects and the ability to input operational times via PDA devices.
